When I was in grade school, I played baseball and soccer. I picked up lacrosse in fourth grade after seeing a friend playing the game. I enjoyed the faster pace and instantly fell in love with the speed, stick skills and team tactics of the sport. I looked up to the high school players and knew I wanted to play at that level. I am constantly looking for ways to improve myself and my team. I practice 2-3 hours a day between team practice, individual skills improvement and weight and cardio training. I eat, sleep, and breathe lacrosse. After a couple years of playing in the sport, I set my goals to play at the college level and maybe professionally as well someday. I plan to pursue engineering and use that knowledge to design lacrosse equipment for the sport.
