I'm a three-sport Varsity athlete with Lacrosse as my primary focus. I've been playing lax since 5th grade and currently on the Ridge Point High School varsity lax team and the AA varsity club team for Texas Legacy Lacrosse and Team 91 Texas. My wrestling and football background help me bring an aggressive physicality to the field; I'm always looking to merge speed, agility and strength to get the better of my opponents. I was one of only two freshmen to make the Varsity Lacrosse team at the Kinkaid School; also during my freshman year I played JV football and Varsity wrestling. I made the Varsity team for all three sports my sophomore year.
Off the field, I participate in the high school band as a percussionist. I've been playing drums since 3rd grade. I have a mix of pre-AP and AP classes, with a focus on Science, Math and French. My other interests are photography, bike mechanics, running, hiking and learning to play guitar. I've been volunteering with my school lacrosse group since middle school, teaching multiple defense clinics and assisting as a part-time coach. Spring 2019 I volunteered with the Brookwood Community, helping to coach a basketball tournament and made a surprise appearance in their team's mascot costume.
I want to build a future around an engineering degree probably mechanical although chemical engineering interests me too. I want to continue playing lacrosse in college, and also pursue playing music at some level. My travels across the US have given me the opportunity to visit 23 states so far, with a goal to hit all 48 contiguous states by the time I hit 20. With that in mind, the idea of attending college outside my home state is very appealing. I love to travel, meet people and see places that are outside my usual experiences. Once of the best things about playing travel ball is knowing other people wherever I go. No matter where I travel, there are always other lacrosse players that I've met or played with or practiced with or beaten to a championship, and it's a great feeling to be able to connect.
