From the first time that I picked up a stick, I have had a passion for lacrosse. I enjoy all aspects of the game which is why I spend almost all of my free time working on the pad, the wall or in front of the net getting better - even when I am not at practice. The more that I play against better competition, the more certain I am that I want to play at the collegiate level. Going to college is an expectation in my family. My family has a very strong academic background as both of my parents have post graduate degrees and I currently have a 3.9 GPA and I am listed on the high honor roll.
I think that I can bring a lot to a program - both on and off the field. I have held several leadership and captain positions within my teams as well as in the community. In addition, I have the biggest impact on games in the most important situations - scoring the winning goal in a number of games. I take pride in creating mismatches on both offense and defense. On offense, I can dodge and shoot with both hands. On defense, I can stay in front of the opponent’s best offensive threat without requiring a slide which allows my defensive teammates to be more aggressive.
I would appreciate the opportunity to work with coaches who are energetic, and love the game. I would love the chance to represent a school on the field and in the classroom.
