Sawyer Smith '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I've been playing lacrosse for 8 years. I fell in love with goalie after my cousin, a current Adrian College goalie, introduced it to me in 1st grade. I'm athletic, quick, tough and positive. I have excellent vision, see the ball very well, am very vocal, and confident in my calls.  I'm not afraid to hit the unguarded shooter or run it up field. I'm a positive leader that brings out the best in my team. In spring ball, I split time at M/A and am a leader in assists and goals scored. The field improves my goalie and lax IQ. In 9th grade football this year, I was the starting RB/ILB, where I led the team in rushing yards, and receptions/yards by a RB. Through my goalie play and grades, I plan to enroll into a top school with a lacrosse program that I can start and lead immediately.
