Personal Statement

I am a team-first, coachable player and enjoy the hard work. I'd like the opportunity to continue to learn and develop as a person and a player with guys that love competing as much as I do.

While I love to create turnovers and score goals, I think I'm most proud that I was able to set my teammates up more often than all but two other players in the state. It's a similar story in hockey. I feel like I see the field (and ice) well.

My freshman year, I barely qualified for a varsity letter. I worked hard to become a better, smarter player. Countless overtime practices and extra weekend sessions later, I became a starter my sophomore year.

As the sole junior captain, I had the opportunity to help shape our program and culture for the betterOur tight-knit group earned a trip to the state championship game. We lost, but I can't wait to get back next year for the same game, different outcome.
