I am a very competitive person with swimming and outside activities. I really enjoy the aspect of putting my all into a race to see who can rise to the top. I am careful to balance my academics with my training to maintain a 4.0 GPA.
The highlight of my career was to qualify for the 2019 YMCA Short Course Nationals. In 2018, I was very close to obtaining my national cut under my long-time coach who then retired. The next year, I had to adapt to a new coach, a new training environment and a new team. I was able to focus on my goals, obtain my cut, and fulfill my dream of attending Nationals.
I am always up to the challenge presented to me and I'm willing to see it through to the end.
