Personal Statement
I currently row for Nor Cal Rowing Club and is going into my senior year. Currently on the summer after my second year of crew. Had to sit out for about 6 months of the season with a back injury but as of now have completely recovered. I row starboard. and can row Port but not nearly as well and have started the summer mostly sculling in a single and have gotten relatively good at it. Looking to update erg score at some point during the summer. I am committed and hard-working. My coach, Jarrod McClendon said, 'I have grit.' I would like to row at the collegiate level. I am also the junior team captain and I also volunteer for Nor Cal & help with their summer rowing camps.
