I do not know what my life goals are at the moment for after college but my goal for right now is to be strong enough that I know I can accomplish any goal I set in the future for myself. Not just strong physically but mentally as well.
College is important for me in life as that is the next step to furthering my education. I am a balanced person challenging myself both academically in the classroom and physically through sports my entire life. Ever since starting high school I have fallen in love with competitive rowing. I have been rowing now for three years for North Bay Rowing Club, in Petaluma California, and I am now going into my senior year. I am dedicated to the sport of rowing and I love the camaraderie that comes with having a great determined team. I have always been a competitive athlete but most of all my biggest competitor has been myself pushing me to be better, to get that next lowest split, to get that extra inch of length through the water and overall to get faster and win more races. I work hard to achieve my goals and am always willing to take advice, critiques, and tips to improve my performance; I want to be the best athlete I can be. No matter what I will always give 110% effort to reach the goals that are set for me and I know I can and will continue to improve.
