Rowing stroke seat Personal Statement
Hello all, my name is John Stroka and I am a rower for Hingham High Rowing. Freshman year I was a coxswain then switched to rowing in the spring season. Through my time as a coxswain I was able to gain awareness throughout the entire boat. I made varsity going into my sophomore year. This was possible by being pushed by my trainers, and coaches. I am an athlete with grit, discipline, and leadership. I love the sport of rowing because of the intensity it comes with. My goal is to continue my rowing career at the collegiate level while having a major related to business/economics. I am ready for whatever it takes to reach my goal and beyond, and I wont stop until I do so.
