My name is Paul Stasaitis and I have been a coxswain at the varsity level since spring of my 8th grade year. During my 8th grade spring I was in my high school’s 1v4+ (which was our top boat due to lack of depth for a competitive 8+). During the summer after, I was in my club team‘s 2v8+ and currently I am in the 2v as well on my club team. Academically I take all honors classes and the highest level of classes my school has to offer. I also play trombone in the top freshman band of my highschool. I would be a good fit for a collegiate team because of my attitude towards this sport, and the goals I have when I’m in a boat. I believe that every race is winnable if people believe it is and that my job as a coxswain is to make the boat as effective and quick as possible.
