Being able to go to Nationals in Ohio as a freshman was one of the highlights of my high school career. However, winning the first place of the 2017 Snowflake Regatta in my single skull, definitely marked the beginning of my crew career. This experience solidify my determination to row at the college level. I was fortunate enough to get my own single skull in the beginning of my junior year, which helped me practice and improve my sculling technique. This was a big turning point for me because I was now able to do every type of rowing such as: port, starboard, and now scull. With this type of rowing capabilities I am able to fill any seat in any boat on my team. I believe that I also have good leadership skills and will be able to motivate your team and encourage them to row their hearts out and really push and aim for that first place metal. My work ethic, leadership skills, and character will allow me to be a good asset to your team!
