In the future I aspire to work for Boeing as a Mechanical engineer. This goal will not be an easy one to accomplish. In order to obtain my goal, I have to be disciplined. That is were athletics, especially crew, come into play. In my own experience, no other sport in the world requires as much determination or discipline as crew does. I have had to remain disciplined while both inside and outside of the boat. In the boat, I have had to push my mind and body to the edge. Out of the boat, I have had to manage schoolwork, homework, extracurricular activities, and athletics. This balancing act has helped me to become more disciplined in my day to day life. And as a result, I have excelled in everything that I have set my sights on. It is this quality that will make me a great athlete on any collegiate team.
