As a 6 foot 6 left-footed center striker from the border of Arizona who led the state in goals and points (5A and 6A) with 37 goals and 13 assists, I take pride in every time I step on the pitch knowing I represent my school, my teammates, my family and my culture. I can say with confidence that I have grown up playing against the very definition of such terms as adversity and determination. I am not a traditional player, with the traditional pathway, instead, I have been given the opportunity to be molded in a culture where passion and creativity are of the essence. My athletic endeavors are paired with high academic standards and a desire to learn more on and off the pitch.
