Personal Statement

Soccer has played a big part in my life and I am determined to excel at the collegiate level. I play winger and attacking midfielder for Fraser Valley Football Club, and have been playing for them for over 7 years. Over the years I have developed into a technical, quick-thinking, versatile player. I have a tight bond with my teammates, and even though I am not the captain I will help encourage them as leader.

My education and future is also very important to me, I want to utilize the opportunities in college to help my future. I will work hard to achieve this goal of mine.

I will work hard on and off the pitch, but I also want to have a great college experience. I am in my senior year at Robert Bateman Secondary, and during my time here I have had an amazing experience and it has helped me grow as a person. I want to be able to learn and continue to grow as a person with my college experience.

  • Training with this team made me the player I am today. Playing with this team made me fall in love with the sport again and helped me enjoy it every time I got onto the pitch. This team not only helped further improve my technical skills but also enhance my grasp of the game. I became a much smarter player with the aid of my coach and teammates. Without this experience, I would not be able to become the decisive, quick-witted player now.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
