Aidan Scott '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aidan Scott and I am a senior at Desert Christian Academy and a class of 2021 prospective student athlete with a 3.3 GPA. I am the oldest of 4 boys and I enjoy playing sports and being active.  I have played club soccer for several years with PDSC ('02).  I love soccer and hope to earn a spot on a college roster, but I understand that it not only takes skill, but a lot of hard work, dedication and grit to play at the next level.  My mom was an NAIA All American volleyball player and my parents have raised me with the mindset of doing hard things.  I understand that hard work, discipline, and sacrificing self for the good of others are key to success.  I have been trained to practice these things because my high school is very small (around 130 students) and I have been needed on other sports teams as well.  So, in addition to hs and club soccer, I've been playing football and baseball at DCA.  Last year, I played two club soccer games and a varsity football game on a Saturday and I was able to score a goal and a touchdown in the same day.  I had a tough high school season this past year, my team competes in a very skilled league and we were not able to win any games this season, but despite coming in last place the other league coaches voted me for 1st Team All League (Ambassador League).  It was a blessing to know that my skill and efforts on the field earned the respect of opposing coaches.  I've learned to always give my best effort, be a great teammate, and never give up.  My dream is to be able to play soccer and continue my education at a university, ideally near the west coast.  My faith is very important to me and I would like to attend a Christian university, but I am open to whatever God has for me.  Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me and I wish you the best as you work to build your team and soccer program!
