My dream has always been to be a key contributing member of any team that I play on at the highest levels of the sport. I have been a two-sport athlete my entire life, playing soccer and lacrosse. Despite competing at the national elite level on the East Coast in lacrosse, I decided in 2018 to make soccer my main focus. I made this decision because the trajectory of my skill improvement in the sport have sparked my passion and realization that many more opportunities will be open to me in soccer. I spent my sophomore year at the Barca Residency Academy in Arizona. This unique environment allowed me to be completely immersed in a soccer rich environment. Our team performed very well against the top competition. I experienced significant growth personally and with my soccer skill development. I now play for the LA Galaxy San Diego USSDA team in Carlsbad, California. I am interested in health sciences. I want to take my soccer contributions to a program at a division one or division two school. I am looking for a program and coaching staff that can help me continue to develop and provide opportunities to play on after graduation. College is not the destination but another step in my journey. I am hoping to continue to play on, perhaps professionally, but want a first-rate education in the health sciences as I realize that even if I am able to play on as a professional, I need to have a solid education that supports a career direction outside of soccer. I believe my candidacy for college admission will be strong. I always have and will continue to maintain a high GPA, and extracurricular activities, including music. Thank you for your interest in my becoming a key contributor to your program.
