I started wrestling when I was in 8th grade. I made it to the state tournament in California and placed 5th in the 170 weight class. I went to a STEM school as a freshman and wrestled in the 170 weight class. I finished 1st in the Freshman SoCal Championship, 1st in the San Diego County Freshman Championship and 5th at the CIF Sectionals. I did not wrestle my sophomore year because our wrestling team had only 5 wrestlers and our track team was much stronger. I was miserable my sophomore year because I missed the grind of wrestling and competing on the mat, so I decided that I needed to make some changes to get back to the sport that I love so much.
I transferred schools my Junior year so I could wrestle competitively. I have been practicing with a private coach during the quarantine and am looking forward to getting back on the mat.
I am registered for the FreakShow, Monster Match and will attend either Super32 or Pre-Season Nationals.
