I am a student athlete who aspires to play college soccer at the highest level.
I’ve played soccer since I was 4 years old. I started off as a striker but early on it was clear that I was a better goalkeeper. As a Goalkeeper having played on the field has allowed me to feel comfortable playing with my feet as well as helping my team playing out of the back.
When I was 12, I was invited to train to the Atlas FC Reserves for one month in Guadalajara, Mexico. This experience of being away from home helped me to mature and to understand the sacrifices of playing at the highest level.
On the field, I am a vocal leader who motivates and encourages my team. I am fully dedicated in my sport and I am always trying to improve my skills and technique. My hard-work and dedication to the sport has allowed me to join the San Jose Earthquakes. Being in this team has motivated me to become the best player that I can be on and off the pitch.
As a person, I am always interested in trying challenging/new things that are out of my comfort zone. Academically, I am a dedicated student with very good grades. I study at Acalanes High School, one of the top public high schools in California. Also at Acalanes, I am part of the Student Key Club which allows me to do volunteer work helping the community around me.
I am looking for a program that helps me continue to grow and excel academically, athletically, and as a person.
