Izyan Nadeem '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Izyan Nadeem, and my goal is to pursue a soccer career as far as I can take it.  Whether at a college (semi-professional) or at a professional level, I aspire to continue challenging myself and playing soccer as long as possible. I have passion for this sport, and it has helped me so much throughout the years. It gives me discipline, consistency, and conditioning. Playing sports has not affected my education; I have kept my GPA at a 3.7 for the past 2 years. In my free time, I assist in coaching my younger siblings' soccer team, which is a u11 and u9 team. My siblings started playing soccer after seeing my brother and I play it. When creating the team, I coached both teams for the first year. Coaching the teams gave me a different perspective on how to create different plays during games.

From the highs, such as state national qualifiers, to the lows of starting over after a team disbanding, I know this sport is constantly changing, and I’m all here for it. Throughout it all, I've never given up and have always looked forward to what's to come as I trust myself and have faith in god to guide me. As a center defender, my strongest qualities are my long balls, speed, leadership, and anticipation. Leadership??? You ask……I forgot to mention that I’ve been captain of all the teams I’ve played with. Never have I asked to be Captain; the first time I was captain, the Coach chose me due to my patience and composure during games. On the second and third team, the players chose me for my responsibility and maturity. I’ve earned those positions with my hard work and dedication. Outside of soccer, my interests are Coaching, STEM, and watching movies.
