Gavin Raskulinecz '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gavin Raskulinecz and I currently live in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. I have played with Pateadores DA and ECNL since I was 11 have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I've tried many other sports: baseball, basketball, track, surfing and even a little football. Even though I enjoy all sports, soccer is my passion and I hope to play in college and beyond. I am a very hard and dedicated worker in all aspects of life, and winning is what I strive for on and off the field.  The skill, strategy and strength required to be great is unmatched. This challenge, along with the brotherhood I build with my teammates, drives my passion for soccer.

I think sometimes I am looked at differently by my coaches and teammates because I knew I wanted to play at the next level and beyond from the very first time I stepped on the field. I know I need to excel academically, physically, mentally and technically to reach my goals for college and beyond. I work every day to be better and will always do whatever it takes to succeed. Commitment and loyalty are my two of my biggest strengths.

Choosing the right school to me is going to be hard. I am looking for a program that will balance academic and athletic excellence. I want to find a coach that expects the best from the players both on and off the field. I am looking for an experience that will set me up for the chapters after college and a bond that lives well beyond.
