My dream is to play professional soccer. I am currently playing for a 3rd Division team in Valencia, Spain. I am living in Valencia and training with Eture Sports. I am enjoying the high level of soccer here in Spain and I am confident that training both with my team and with Eture will help me advance quickly.
Academics are important to me and if I don't get the opportunity to play soccer professionally I would like to play college soccer at the highest level possible.
I believe my best assets are my accurate passing, my ability to use both feet to pass and to score accurately, my coachability and game intelligence/vision. I am a hard worker and am dedicated to putting in the necessary time on and off the field to become a better player, successful student and person of honorable character.
I have played for many top level teams throughout Southern California, sometimes traveling as much as two hours to practices, as there has always been something new to learn from every new coach I have had the pleasure to play for. I was honored to be chosen to play for the US Soccer Stars and represent the United States in Spain for the Mediterranean International Cup (MIC Cup). This experience was one of the best of my life as I got to visit Spain and play against teams from all over the world.
For the 2018-19 season, I left Barca Academy and returned home to San Diego to play on Albion's U19 DA team. I highly enjoyed being coached by Albion's professional team coach, Ziggy Korytoski. He developed me into a fast-thinking player. I continued to train with him with the Albion Pro's over the summer to prepare for my season in Spain.
For the 2017-18 season I was picked up by the new FC Barcelona Development Academy in Casa Grande, Arizona. I was honored to be chosen for this academy out of hundreds of great players. Moving away from home to a residential academy was a big step, but I am positive it was the right decision. I loved living at the academy as I got to train 6 to 8 times a week as well as work out/lift weights with trainers to improve my strength and speed. I have been trained in all styles of soccer, but am most proficient at the Barcelona style of a possession game, so it was a dream come true to play for FC Barcelona.
For the 2016-17 season, I played for LA Galaxy San Diego's Premier team and had a great season as their center midfielder. We placed second in flight 1 league play. I can play as defensive or attacking mid, and I use both feet equally well. I am a team player that shines as a playmaker, as my best features are my long balls and through passes right on the money to set up great goal scoring opportunities. I am also a consistent secondary finisher in most games.
