Reid Etzbach '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Reid Etzbach. I am 6'2" and 180lbs with a 4.0 GPA and play CB.

Soccer has played one of the biggest roles in my life. My coaches throughout the years have provided invaluable advice and guidance on the field, and through meaningful connections and experiences with teammates and coaches, these influences have helped me learn and grow. Soccer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It has taught me important values and is woven into my character, and holds an important place in my identity. 

Playing college soccer has always been a dream of mine and I have continued to work each day both physically and most importantly mentally in order to achieve this goal. Some characteristics that describe me are my strong work ethic, my capacity to adjust and improve (both in the classroom and on the field), and my ability to think and play quickly. 

I am looking for a college that can offer scholarly academics, but also one that can test me on the field so that I am able to push myself as a player and a student. I  believe I am looking to play at a small to medium school, but I am still exploring a variety of schools and sizes to try and find a school that fits me well and my desired areas of study.

I always push myself and try to lead others both on and off the field. I have a desire and passion to win and be successful and would love to bring that to any team I play for.
