Korin Krimmer '17 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Korin Krimmer, I was born in Warren, Ohio. I have had to move around the world a lot, going to places such as Japan, Virginia, Jacksonville, and Ohio due to my father being in the US Navy. My Mother is Japanese so I have dual citizenship. When my family was stationed in Virginia Beach, VA, was when I made my first travel soccer team (Beach FC U-10). Before I finished my first season, we had to move to Japan where I experienced a different, more intense form of soccer.  

    In Japan, I was taught commitment, discipline, and to respect my team. During my three years in Japan, I learned what it means to be a "number 9" and  I knew I had to work hard to become the number 9 in my team. When it was finally given to me, 9 instantly became my favorite number. 

    In  2011, we were stationed to Florida, where I worked toward playing in the highest level of competitive soccer at my age. The opportunity finally presented itself when the club I have been playing for (Jacksonville FC) was awarded a USSDA program where I enjoyed playing with and against some of the nations top players. 

    I am currently working hard for my team, Jacksonville FC Armada, to be the top of the NPL rankings as well as keeping my grades up. My goal is to get better and better everyday and eventually, if given the opportunity, to play soccer at the top level.
