Throughout my athletic career i have played many different sports (Soccer, Football, Baseball, and basketball). In each sport I have learned different qualities that I have transferred over to my Soccer career. With these different sports i have learned discipline, patience, vision, focus, etc. Playing sports throughout my life has shown me that I am a very competitive and hardworking even if it just a small sided possession game or a District Championship match. I strive to win/excel in everything I put my mind to and I will not quit no matter how many obstacles may be standing in the way. My competitive spirit on the field also carries over into my school life. Initially i struggled when I got to high school, but I have been on an upward run with getting better grades and plan to continue that.
The major obstacle that I have had to overcome is that I'm usually not the tallest/fastest player on the field. However, I have learned how to use my strength, body position, drive, and technical skills to compensate for my height and speed. More times than not, these qualities have helped to overcome those perceived obstacles. My passion for the game started at a very young age as I would play against my older sister and older cousin and they wouldn't hold back on me no matter how young I was. My competitive spirit also started early on which ended up with me learning new skills and ways to keep up with their size advantage. I started to excel at a very fast rate and soon turned the tables and started dominating which made my passion for the game much greater.
