My name is Lauren Villarreal I am 15 years old and I go to Allen D Nease High school located in Florida. For my high school softball team, my primary position on the field is Pitcher and Shortstop . Softball has given me so many opportunities to advance as a player. It's given me the chance to learn from many of my coaches along with my teammates, this sport has taught me how to progress past my setbacks and learn from my mistakes both on and off the field. Softball is my inspiration, my favorite part of the game is the feeling you get when you hit a home run and you know that all of your hard work has paid off and all you want to do is get back up to the plate so you can do it all over again. My dream is to attend Law school to become a lawyer, while being able to still play softball. Overall academically I push myself to become better, I challenge myself in every subject. Just like in softball I am willing to push myself to become a better player. I believe that if you want to exceed and progress at something you must be willing to put in the hard work to make it happen.
