My name is Carson Cajuste, 5’10” a junior at Allsaints academy, a college preparatory school, in Winter Haven, Florida. My interest is in colleges that have both strong academic and athletic programs.
I played soccer with Winter Haven Kicks for nine (9) years as the starting forward, right-wing and right-back, was also a team captain. I recently switched Club team and now I am a forward for West Florida Flames U17 boys with Coach Juan Garcia. I also play for the Florida State ODP team as a starting forward. I can easily adapt to any position on the field. For my high school, I am a starting forward. My club team, West Florida Flames, is ranked #1 in the state of Florida, ranked 3rd in the Region, and ranked 23rd in the nation. The level of soccer played with West Florida Flames has helped me develop into a better player.
I have a great amount of experience playing soccer as I have been on the field since I was 5 years old and playing competitive soccer for 9 years. In the last two seasons, I was one of the leading goal scorers for Winter Haven Kicks. As previously mentioned, I attend Allsaints Academy in Winter Haven, FL. Despite only being a junior in high school, I have played varsity for Allsaints Academy High School since 8th grade and plan on continuing that streak into my senior year. Over the summer I played soccer for Florida’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) in Alabama with Coach Chris Moyssidis. After a rigorous tryout and elimination process, the Regional coaches selected me for the ODP South Region 111 team.
I enjoy giving back to the soccer community. I volunteered to be the head coach of a U11 mix (boys and Girls) rec team last spring. I asked the President of Winter Haven Kicks Club how I can become a volunteer with his club. He stated that he needed rec coaches and pointed me towards the rec age group coordinator who assigned me to a team that needed a coach. I learned a lot about working with the club administration, parents, and the kids. I plan to coach again this spring. I am also an FYSA soccer referee. For the past 2 years, I have been refereeing soccer games for Allsaints academy middle school and Winter Haven Kicks.
Being the president of my junior class, my responsibilities include but not limited to planning school activities, prom and class events as well as run monthly meetings. I am also an ambassador for my school, with this position I give tours to prospective parents, students, new parents, and new students.
I am an ambitious, hard-working student as having demonstrated by my continued dedication to soccer and academics. Also, my position as President of the Junior class at AllSaints Academy while holding a 3.6 GPA with mostly honors and AP courses validate how dedicated and committed I am in achieving my goal. I am hoping to enhance my soccer ability and gain valuable lessons that I can take into the real world. I am an easy-going person that gets along well with everyone. My goal is to play soccer professionally, therefore, I plan to consider colleges that are a good match academically and athletically.
