Although I was in fifth grade, about to enter middle school, with extraordinary opportunities academically and athletically, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I had nothing that I was going to strive for. Until, I heard of Track and Field. Once I met the Track, and the team I was going to be running with, I finally acquired a goal. To become the best version of myself on and off the field. The sport taught me not to give up, and gave me new friends and comrades, that have mentored me to be the best I can be.
So that's when I started to learn more about myself. I think I am a well qualified candidate for any team, because of how willing I am, to surpass my limits. That in anyway possible, I will find a way to achieve my goals, and help my teammates achieve theirs as well. What sets me aside from other recruits, is that I will always make sure to find a way. That I will listen, grow, and help myself, and others, so my friends and I, can build off of each other. The support from my friends and family has always pushed me, and that is why I will go beyond what is asked of me academically and athletically, because I will never settle for average.
