Personal Statement - Keanakolu Case

On and off the field, I am the same grounded person. I display good sportsmanship everywhere I go and lead by setting positive examples. One of my main missions is to thrive in everything I do and build up others around me. Being one of the captains of my high school soccer team this year was an honor placed upon me that I took advantage of to show the type of leader I am. Thriving takes determination, discipline, perseverance, respect, humility, grit, and regret. I am constantly looking for ways to grow and improve myself. I am a lifelong learner and seek out ways to better myself. Hard work is needed to navigate through life, and that is what I am about. I put in the time and effort required to get a job done. Whether in classes or on the field, I invest time practicing the skills I need to advance in learning and ability. When faced with challenges, I use my support system of friends and family to help guide me through rough situations. Overall, I am a team player who is invested!
