After losing both of my parents by age 12, I moved to Hawaii with my Aunt and Uncle. Hawaii is the place where being humble, grateful, and hard working became engrained in my life both on and off the pitch. Academically, I am currently ranked #7 in my class and have maintained a 4.0 GPA. In college, I want to pursue Criminal Justice as my major, in hopes of giving back to the community that has given me many opportunities.
I have been the starting goalkeeper for Konawaena High School varsity soccer team since my freshman year. This school year I was chosen as captain, received most valuable player, and chosen 1st team all-league honors for Big Island Interscholastic Federation. In club, I am the starting goalkeeper for Kona Crush Soccer Academy.
As a keeper I am good at reading the tempo of the game to benefit my team. With distributing the ball, I see the best posible option to move the ball forward into open space with my hands and feet. By communicating with my team on and off the pitch, I understand what they see to create the best option when playing.
