Being a soccer player, the passion to play as much as possible and the dedication to train to be better everyday are traits that most players have. For me, besides the love for the sport and hunger to win and improve, another important quality is the care for others. Soccer is a team sport, in order for the team perform well, chemistry, moral are just as important as individual skills. That’s why I believe it’s crucial for a soccer player to build good relationships with teammates and help each other on and off the field. When I am not playing soccer , I participated in all kinds of volunteer activities and founded my own non profit organization to further support my community such as gathering mask donations and teaching kids math. When I was the captain in my prep school varsity team in 9th grade, I learned how to communicate and motivate other players as well as taking responsibilities. Although I had not been the captain of my teams in the last two year because of constant moving, the leadership qualities carried over no matter what team I play for. I continue to push myself and others around me to be at their best levels!
