Dominick Peri '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Dominick Peri. I live in Geneva, Illinois and am currently a sophomore at Geneva Community High School. I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old and I still love soccer today. I currently have a 3.33 GPA. During my freshman year I was named captain of the freshman team. I also was awarded Offensive MVP playing as a defensive midfielder. I scored 5 goals and had a team leading 6 assists my freshman year. As a sophomore, I am a starter for the varsity soccer team. Throughout playing soccer I have learned that I am a very competitive person and I am a hard worker. I have a ton of passion for the game. I love how competitive soccer is and I love being with my teammates and building relationships with the guys I play with.

I also play for Strikers Fox Valley Soccer Club. I am a starter for the 02/03 boys Premier team. I am a versatile player with my primary position being an attacking midfielder but also play a fair amount of time at defensive midfield.  In 2017, I had the opportunity to travel with my club team to England to play 4 matches against school and club teams from England. During the 2017/18 season, my club team competed in 2 college showcases; the Crossroads of America College Showcase and SLSG Showcase. My current schedule for the 2019 club season has us playing at the Crossroads of America Showcase, the Nike Academy Showcase, and the Midwest Regionals. I was also selected to the 2018 Illinois ODP 2002 State Team. My goal is to go to a college or university that fits me academically and that offers me the opportunity to continue my journey with soccer.
