I have aspired to play collegiate soccer for as long as I can remember. My goal is to play college soccer, as soccer has always been a large part of my life. Not only am I a starter on my varsity soccer team at Grayslake Central High School, but I also am a starter on my local travel team, FC Lake County.
I am strong with both feet, I have great passing ability and vision during the game, and exhibit strong leadership during every game. The moment that shaped me individually was getting 2nd in the Regional tournament for my high school, despite going undefeated in our conference. This helped me focus on my weaknesses and what to improve on.
I have volunteered in the local community to teach kids soccer skills for the Grayslake Park District. The varsity head coach nominated me to represent GCHS soccer for the NLCC leadership conference for the second year in a row, and I have volunteered at our local PADS homeless shelter multiple times. When I am not playing, I am also a referee for club soccer games.
I am a hard working student that has a 3.3 GPA while challenging myself with 3/4 honors core classes, an AP class, and an 1190 as my SAT score. My studies are very important to me. I am a determined and committed individual both athletically and academically. I strive to attend a college that fits me best, and I am open to all options.
