Cole Garofola '26 Recruiting Profile

I'm Cole Garofola, I live in Western Springs Illinois. Soccer has always been an integral part of my life, I've been playing since I was 4 years old. The game has always been fun. As I've grown into it, I've realized my passion and desire is to become the best player I can be for myself and my team. I am a player who has strong character and a voice on the field, with intelligence and leadership. I pride myself on understanding how to play every position on the field, for myself and to help my team succeed. On the field, and in practice, I'm hardworking and bring a positive attitude. On the ball I have excellent touch, vision, pass shaping ability and positional awareness which allows me to be an effective midfielder in possession. I posses strong ability to be creative in attacking and defending as a central midfielder. Finally, my use of my IQ, and fast playing tactics helps me exploit crucial attacking opportunities, resulting in goalscoring chances. 

As I move into the next part of my soccer career, I plan to use my already acquired skills, and my strong drive to improve myself as well as the program that values my talents. I'm heading into my junior year of high school and playing at FC United MLS Next. I am very excited for the present, but also for what comes next in my college soccer career.
