I am a student athlete from Newton, Illinois, looking for a roster spot at a college with good soccer and academic programs. I am currently attending Newton Community High School. As a student, I want to complete high school and further my education in the field of business with a focus on insurance and agriculture. I would like to pursue a career in agri-business possibly as an insurance agent. My father works as an insurance agent in a family business located in Newton and my mother is a nursing professor at Eastern Illinois University located in Charleston, Illinois. I’ve played attacking mid-fielder and forward in high school and club for Eastern Illinois FC. As a sophomore, I was #9 in Class 1A for assists and as a junior, I was #13 in Class 1A for goals. I’m a leader both on and off the field and was voted captain of the high school team my junior year. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my game having attended many summer and ID camps over the years along with playing both indoor and club during my off seasons. I will bring that same work ethic to the college level applying it to both my academics and the soccer team.
