Hello. I’m Isaac Felder. I attend and play soccer at Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, Illinois. I will graduate in 2024. This season, I aim to grow, work to be the best player I can be, and help my team succeed by winning. I am primarily an outside defender but am used as a utility player, being well-rounded in all aspects of the game and able to be put anywhere on the field, impacting the game at any time. I play for Chicago Fire Youth SC 2006 Premier. We had great success last season, winning the Elite Academy League National Championship, the USYS Illinois State Cup, and the USYS Midwest Regionals. We are still working daily to reach our goals for this upcoming season. This winter, I had a chance to play with the Laos Mens National Team, meeting and playing with many great players and coaches. I was very thankful for this opportunity to have the chance to test my skills and learn with people who live on the other side of the globe from me.
I try to involve myself in many different clubs and activities outside of soccer in school. I was accepted into HYPE (Healthy Youth Peer Educators) this year. It is a club that prioritizes student health and anti-drug use for students. This is something I am very passionate about. Every day, I try to be a leader and inform my peers to live a healthy lifestyle, stay away, and say no to drugs. I am also very adaptable to new people and surroundings, able to talk and accomplish goals in unknown places or with people I have never met. I will continue to work hard and push myself to reach my goals on and off the field.
