Personal Statement
Hello Coaches
My name is Gavin and I’m currently playing for my hometown soccer club Palatine Celtic SC. I’m currently playing on the boys 09 black team as the striker. I have also played as an attacking mid fielder and defender. For the 2024 spring season we played in two leagues, Premier and NISL here in Illinois. As I have played soccer for most of my childhood I have been fortunate enough to be coached by my dad and uncle during my younger playing days were they pushed me to work on my skills along with my speed and metal aspects of this great game. They taught me to use both feet and even had incentives when using and scoring with my weaker foot.
As I focus on my current club season I have also been named to the Illinois ODP state team were I look forward to many more exciting opportunities as I am the 9.
