Edwin Gil Herrera '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is one day to live the dream of playing soccer for college and going pro. I would be grateful for the opportunity to go pro one day. I also want to make my parents proud for all the sacrifices they've done to get me into NCSA and helping me in my soccer career. 

What makes me a good candidate is that I will play my best in every match and always try to improve myself during practice. I'm also good at following directions. That means that If my coach wants me to do a specific play, I will do it. I've been playing my whole life because I love the feel of the game. It's a wonderful experience going out to play.

What makes me different from other recruits is that both my athletics and academics are good. I see that some players don't have both and that makes me different from other recruits. My character on the field is friendly, I don't argue with the referees, coaches, or players. Having good sportsmanship is a key personality to me.
