2021 Highlights Personal Statement
Basketball has always been a very important part of my life. I grew up playing basketball at age 4.
Just like most Hoosiers, both my grandfathers, my father, and my mom played basketball. And once I started I never stopped.
Growing up if there weren’t enough girls to make a team I would join the boys teams. Playing with the boys makes you work harder.
I have always worked very hard at trying to be better at dribbling, shooting, free throws, etc and I am not afraid of hard work.
Basketball has been the one constant in my life and I can’t imagine life with out it. Basketball has definitely helped make me the person I am today.
