I grew to love soccer once I started playing at a premier level. As a 7 year old, I was a goalie and learned the game from observing the play. I transitioned to a field player and realized I saw the field differently. I enjoyed directing my teammates at all levels. My premier teams have had a lot of success, however, my biggest challenge was joining my High School team and helping to develop skills in players who never really played soccer. I was able to work with two defenders outside of practice and taught them to push the attacker to one side and how to control the ball. Through this, I have learned leadership, patience and dedication.
