My passion for soccer started in the 6th grade when I selected for my middle school team. My high school coach, Coach Artigue, inspired me to pursue my goal of playing at the next level by pushing me in practice and encouraging me to be the best person that I can be. My parents have always supported my dreams and aspirations over the years and have worked to help me and my brother achieve our goals. My older brother, Caleb, currently pitches on a DI baseball team. Having watched my brother play at the college level for the last 3 years, I have seen what it takes to not only compete at the next level, but to also be successful both on and off the field. My sport has taught me what it takes to be a leader and how to succeed not only as an individual but as a great teammate. While pursing my goals of playing soccer at the next level, I have also excelled in the classroom and participated in many community service events.
During my college years, my goal is to pursue a science major that will enable me to meet qualifications for medical school. On the field, I plan to be a leader and continue to grow as a player. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college soccer career, I will strive to be an asset not only to my squad but also to the community. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
