While I consider myself an accomplished soccer player, I am proud to be an equally accomplished student and citizen. My family has worked and traveled all over the world and the one thing that I have gained from them is that education must accompany physical skills. These physical skills can only be enhanced by understanding the nature of oneself through education. This is why I primarily aspire to be a Biomedical Engineer or a related field whether I make it to the professional leagues or not. I believe that in this profession I can contribute most to my lifelong soccer passion and give back to those less fortunate than I have been. In soccer, I have proven to be skilled at defense, mid and now forward. I get my speed from my father and I have learned to harness it to make the best use of it at the most opportune times. My ball skills have steady improved year by year to the point where I have been selected to be on a MLS Next team but I will participate in high school competition. My parents thought long and hard about getting me into an academy but scholastics outweighed that notion. My school is in the top 100 charter schools in the country and I am proud to declare a 3.8gpa in that setting while still deeply involved with soccer. My parents are supportive to a level I cannot describe here but please know that I am from a good and loving family.
