Matt Gosselin '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches or to whom this may concern,

I am a 5’11, 160 lb, goalkeeper at my school of Saint Dominic Academy in Auburn, Maine

Some background information on my soccer “career” :

• I battled my way into a starting varsity role on my high school team freshman year playing 13 of 14 games and have been the starting goalkeeper ever since. I have led my team into a playoff position in my sophomore and junior seasons, while also being recognized by coaches around the state as having great sportsmanship. Coming off of my Junior season I was elected Assistant captain half way through the year and helped bring my team into a playoff seed while given the head captaincy moving into my senior season.
• I was put up for an all conference nomination my sophomore year, unfortunately was not voted in. After my Junior season I was elected to the all conference team, the regional all star of Class C Maine team, and fell short of an all state nomination.
• I also play on my premier team Andro Stars FC based out of Lewiston, Maine, where we made a deep playoff run being runner-up in our league losing in penalty kicks in our past spring season.
