What I am looking for in a college/university program is one that will challenge me academically as well as strengthen my passion for soccer. I started soccer when I was very young as a way to channel my energy into something positive. I learned many things from my teammates and my coaches along the way but I think I learned the most by knowing how to handle loss. Winning both the city league finals and playoffs was the peak of my career as a goalkeeper. I'd say that my largest amount of growth came from our loss in the 2017 Quarter final against Thunder Bay. This helped me learn about my team and myself, as a goalkeeper.
I am happy to be a part of a great soccer team, at this point I really take initiative in the role as a leader. I learned a great deal from my goalkeeper coach as well as from attending training camp in Verona, Italy. I am willing to continue honing my skills and learning as time goes on. The variety of teams I have played on I believe has made me a well rounded player and I strive to push myself to continue learning over time.
