I have been fighting since the start. I was barely two pounds when I was born, yet I never gave up. I bring that fight to everything I do, including school, soccer and swimming. I believe my early experiences made me into the hard working and positive person that I am today. I want to be a recognized leader and the face of my team and school (representing student athletes and helping bring others to the school). School pride gives me energy and one of the reasons I chose to play in the MIAA “A” Division for St. Paul’s (freshman and sophomore years). This required I give up the fall 2017 and 18 Academy seasons. This year (2019), while a hard decision, I am fully committed to U-17 Academy team and proud of our 4-1-2 DA cup record so far.
I am passionate, committed and ambitious. On the soccer field I put in 100%, no matter the score or what minute it is in the game. I bring a positive outlook and encouragement into every game, no matter the competition. This may be partly because Alex, my twin brother, and I are constantly pushing each other to win, and partly because I get stronger as the game goes on (something I credit to my year-round swimming). While I am an intense person who wants to win, I also want to help make others around me better. I am proud that I have consistently been my team’s top scorer and also had the most assists.
I’m looking forward to getting a chance to meet you, and perhaps represent your college in the near future.
