Personal Statement

Effective, December 19, I have verbally committed to the University of Maryland.

I am a very unselfish player and always try to provide whatever my team needs to be successful.  For example, my coaches have regularly provided positive feedback for my ability and efforts to make the best soccer play.  As a result, I am often assigned to multiple positions to help exploit an opportunity or address a team need.

I value my experience playing in the US Soccer Development Academy program for 3 years.  This experience, coupled with playing at a top level high school and nationally successful club program, helped me grow as a student-athlete.  I feel I am better positioned for a potential opportunity playing soccer at the college level.

I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically as well as athletically. I believe I have the focus, dedication and character to make an immediate impact on your program. As a versatile and team-oriented player, I know that I have what it takes to be a difference maker on your team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
