I have played soccer for the Soccer Association of Columbia in Ellicott City, Maryland, since pre-school and at the SAC Pre-Academy level since U12, and I am currently on the U17 team. Last year our U16 represented our region at the National Academy League Championship in New Jersey. I also play soccer for my local high school and serve as a leader for the Athletic Advisory Club (Varsity Club). As a freshman, I received my varsity letter for the Hammond High School playing center back. I was redistricted to a new school (Guilford Park High School) and served as co-captain for the JV team (no varsity option with only 9th and 10th-grade students) and as co-captain of the first varsity team for this school. This transition has been an amazing leadership opportunity to work with classmates who have yet to experience opportunities to play on highly competitive club teams. I am taking advanced (GT/AP) coursework in high school and remained on the honor roll during high school. I play the upright bass and piano. I have competed in regional competitions on bass and traveled with the Hammond Orchestra 2022-2023 to compete in Orlando, Florida. I am excited to explore all the learning opportunities and majors that college will present to develop as a professional.
