As a Freshman in High School, I wasn't expecting to win the IAC for the regular season going undefeated in our division and win the postseason tournament. The most prominent experience for me was in my 7th-grade year when I traveled to Scotland with my soccer team, but without my parents. This was a meaningful experience because I learned independence because I had to travel internationally without my parents, meaning I had to be responsible and not reliant on my parents.
Through soccer, I have learned that I am a natural leader. When I started playing competitive soccer, in 5th-grade, I noticed that I volunteered for every class leader job, and was the vocal leader for my soccer team, and my travel lacrosse team that I played for. In High School, academic wise, I'm looking to improve as my freshman year goes on, from a 3.0 to a 3.2 eventually to a 3.75 and ultimately a 4.0, but throughout High School, and college I don't expect anything less than a 3.4 from myself.
