Abdullah Al-Jiraf...Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to play at the highest level in order to further develop my soccer career and hopefully play professional. I want to play for the top schools on the East Coast and pursue my aerospace engineering path. What makes me a great candidate is that I work more than anyone else. I am willing to stay longer hours on the pitch and the gym to perfect every single detail of my game. I am a great team player that helps the team progress and win games. What make me better than other candidates in terms of athletics and academics is that I work more than the other players. I go to programs and train individually with my father (former college and pro player) in order to improve my skills. In academics, I earn all A's and I am the top of my class. I work hard and is currently enrolled in International Baccalaureate program at Richard Montgomery High School. This is a rigorous program that helps me improve my academic studies. I have been through many setbacks, but since then, I have been mentally focused in order to achieve my future goals. This helped build my mental game and made me want to become the best player I can be.
My next step in my career is to play for a top collegiate school in order to prove to myself that I am a great player.
