Joshua Hoffman '24 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has always been a major part of my life. But it is also a major part of my family. My mother immigrated to the United States from Belgium at ten years old along with her brother. Along with that they brought the beloved European soccer culture. My uncle went on to play soccer at Boston University and my Mother nearly playing at the collegiate level. The influence of soccer has impacted my life immensely. Whether it be playing since I was five years old, or watching every premier league season with my family. Soccer has been a passion of mine for my entire life, and I have been lucky enough to enjoy the sport at the highest level in my high school career. As I go into my senior year as a captain of my team, I am filled with motivation to improve myself as a player for myself and for my team. In addition, soccer also has provided me with structure in academics and other aspects of life. I am excited to hopefully continue my journey with this amazing sport at the collegiate level as well as enhancing my education as much as possible.
