Throughout my entire life, soccer has been my main passion, my way of life. I have always painted the desire to compete at the highest level and my ambitions will never change. Last year, following a devastating playoff defeat, I witnessed firsthand the cries and emotions of the seniors whose careers and goals had ended that day. I vowed once more to do whatever was needed to pursue my goals after high school because I could never picture tying up my boots for the final time. I gained a lot of knowledge over my career, including how to compete for a position, serve as a team leader, and be an important player who is expected to perform every single day. Numerous early morning and late-night workouts and study sessions have honed my dedication and resolve to always be the best version of myself. My perseverance and versatility on the field, in my opinion, are my most important qualities as a player. I am open to criticism and take it in, learning from my mistakes and even seeking clarification to raise my game to the level desired by coaches and team play-style. When someone doubts me, I don't take it well and nothing stands in my way. I always go above and beyond to disprove them and earn their respect. When I am away from the field or the classroom I enjoy going to the gym with friends and teammates, by myself, and occasionally with my father. In my spare time, I frequently go for runs and watch soccer with my grandfather, who is a soccer genius and has served as my mentor throughout my career thus far. He teaches me how to lead a team and do everything in my power to support my team. Last but not least, I can guarantee that no one else will work as hard or go as far as I am willing to in order to be the best.
